Ingredients

1 1/2 ozBrandy
1/2 ozTawny port
1 1/4 ozBritish bitter ale
1/4 ozBrown simple syrup
1Egg

Instructions

  1. Chill a coupe glass.
  2. Add all ingredients except the british bitter ale to a shaker.
  3. Dry shake (without ice) to start emulsifying (about 10-15 seconds).
  4. Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10-15 seconds).
  5. Strain into the chilled glass.
  6. Top with british bitter ale.
  7. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
