Ingredients

1 1/2 ozBourbon whiskey
1 ozLemon juice
1/2 ozSimple syrup (2:1)
2 1/2 ozSparkling wine

Instructions

  1. Chill a collins glass.
  2. Add simple syrup (2:1), lemon juice to a shaker and stir to dissolve.
  3. Add Bourbon whiskey, sparkling wine and ice, then shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  4. Strain over fresh ice into the chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with a lemon peel twist.
