  1. Chill a coupe glass and rinse with absinthe, discarding any excess.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients to a mixing glass.
  3. Add ice and stir until well chilled (15–30 seconds).
  4. Strain into the prepared glass.
  5. Garnish with an orange peel twist and a star anise.
