Ingredients

1 ozScotch whisky
1 ozScotch whiskey (peated)
1/2 ozGreen Chartreuse
1 ozLemon juice
1/2 ozBrown simple syrup
0.5Egg white
1 pinchSalt
1 dashCreole bitters

Instructions

  1. Chill an old-fashioned glass.
  2. Add all ingredients to a shaker.
  3. Dry shake (without ice) to start emulsifying (about 10-15 seconds).
  4. Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  5. Double strain over fresh ice into the chilled glass.
  6. Garnish with a lemon peel twist.
