1 1/4 ozBrandy
1 barspoonBalsamic vinegar
1/4 ozSimple syrup (2:1)
2 dashGrapefruit bitters
2 dashChocolate bitters

Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass.
- Add all ingredients except the sparkling wine to a mixing glass.
- Add ice and stir until well chilled (15–30 seconds).
- Strain into the chilled glass.
- Top with sparkling wine and stir gently.
- Garnish with a grapefruit peel twist.
