Ingredients

1 1/2 ozWhite rum
1/2 ozTriple sec
12 pieceMint leaves
1/2 ozLime juice
1/2 ozOrgeat syrup
3 dashAngostura bitters
to topLemon-lime soda

Instructions

  1. Chill a sling glass.
  2. Add mint leaves to a shaker and muddle gently.
  3. Add all ingredients except the lemon-lime soda to the shaker.
  4. Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  5. Strain over fresh ice into the chilled glass.
  6. Top with lemon-lime soda and stir gently.
  7. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge.
