Ingredients

2 ozIrish whiskey
1 ozLemon juice
3/4 ozSimple syrup (2:1)
0.5Egg white
3 dashAngostura bitters
2 dropSaline solution 4:1

Instructions

  1. Chill an old-fashioned glass.
  2. Add all ingredients to a shaker.
  3. Dry shake (without ice) to start emulsifying (about 10-15 seconds).
  4. Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10-15 seconds).
  5. Strain over the ice in the prepared glass.
  6. Garnish with a lemon peel twist and a maraschino cherry.
