Ingredients

1/4 ozAbsinthe
1 barspoonSimple syrup (2:1)
5 ozSparkling wine

Instructions

  1. Chill a flute glass.
  2. Add all ingredients except the sparkling wine to a mixing glass.
  3. Add ice and stir until well chilled (15–30 seconds).
  4. Strain into the chilled glass and STIR.
  5. Top with the sparkling wine.
  6. Express the oils from a lemon twist over the drink.
  7. Garnish with a lemon twist and rose petal.
