  1. Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice.
  2. Muddle the fresh ginger gently in the base of a shaker.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients to the shaker.
  4. Dry shake (without ice) to start emulsifying (about 10-15 seconds).
  5. Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  6. Double strain into the prepared glass.
  7. Garnish with ginger slices.
