Ingredients

1 ozScotch whisky
1/2 barspoonPimento dram
1 ozApple brandy
1 barspoonGinger syrup
2 pinchBlack pepper
1 dashAngostura bitters

Instructions

  1. Chill an old-fashioned glass.
  2. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.
  3. Add ice and stir until well chilled (15–30 seconds).
  4. Strain over fresh ice into the chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with a candied ginger.
