1/2 ozRye whiskey
1/2 barspoonAbsinthe
1 1/2 ozApple brandy
1/4 ozSimple syrup (2:1)
3 dashCreole bitters
1 dashAngostura bitters
Instructions
- Chill an old-fashioned glass and rinse with absinthe, discarding any excess.
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.
- Add ice and stir until well chilled (15–30 seconds).
- Strain into the prepared glass.
- Garnish with a lemon peel twist.
