1 1/2 ozGold rum
1/2 ozMaraschino liqueur
7 pieceBasil leaves
1 wedgeLime wedge
1/4 ozBrown simple syrup
Instructions
- Chill an old-fashioned glass.
- Add basil leaves, lime wedge to a shaker and muddle gently.
- Add remaining ingredients to the shaker.
- Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
- Double strain over fresh ice into the chilled glass.
- Garnish with a dried lime slice and a basil sprig.
