  1. Chill a flute glass.
  2. Add simple syrup (2:1), lemon juice to a shaker and stir to dissolve.
  3. Add brandy, sparkling wine and ice, then shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  4. Double strain into the chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with a lemon peel twist.
