Ingredients

2 ozBourbon whiskey
1/4 ozWhite Crème de menthe
1/4 ozBénédictine
1 barspoonAnise liqueur
12 pieceMint leaves
1 barspoonSimple syrup (2:1)
3 dashAngostura bitters
3 dashCreole bitters

Instructions

  1. Chill an old-fashioned glass.
  2. Add all ingredients to a shaker.
  3. Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  4. Strain over the ice in the prepared glass.
  5. Garnish with a mint sprig.
