Ingredients

2 ozGold rum
1/4 ozPedro Ximénez sherry
1/4 ozBrown simple syrup
1 dashAngostura bitters

Instructions

  1. Chill an old-fashioned glass.
  2. Stir half the rum with two ice cubes in a chilled glass.
  3. Add PX sherry, simple syrup, bitters, and two more ice cubes.
  4. Stir some more and add another two ice cubes and the rest of the rum.
  5. Stir some more and add more ice.
  6. Garnish with an orange peel twist.
