Ingredients

2 ozBourbon whiskey
1 barspoonSimple syrup (2:1)
4 pieceMint leaves

Instructions

  1. Add mint sprigs and simple syrup to a julep cup.
  2. Gently muddle to dissolve the sugar and release the mint aroma.
  3. Fill the cup with crushed ice.
  4. Add bourbon whiskey and stir until the cup frosts.
  5. Garnish with a mint sprig.
