2 ozRye whiskey
1 barspoonMaraschino liqueur
1 wedgePineapple
1 twistLemon peel
1 barspoonSimple syrup (2:1)
1 dashAngostura bitters
to topSparkling wine
Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass.
- Add pineapple to a shaker and muddle gently.
- Add all ingredients except the sparkling wine to the shaker.
- Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
- Double strain into the prepared glass.
- Top with sparkling wine and stir gently.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
