Ingredients

2 ozReposado tequila
3 pieceBasil leaves
3/4 ozLemon juice
1/2 ozSimple syrup (2:1)
to topClub soda

Instructions

  1. Fill a collins glass with ice.
  2. Add all ingredients to a shaker except club soda.
  3. Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  4. Strain into the prepared glass.
  5. Top with club soda.
  6. Stir gently.
  7. Garnish with a lemon wedge and a basil leaf.
