About the Sidecar cocktail
The Sidecar is a classic Daisy-style cocktail made with cognac or brandy, orange liqueur, and fresh lemon juice. It shares the same basic structure as a Margarita: a base spirit, citrus, and a liqueur used as the sweetener. Instead of tequila and lime, the Sidecar uses cognac and lemon for a richer, rounder take on the sour cocktail format.
