Ingredients

1 1/2 ozMezcal
1/2 ozClaret wine
1 ozLime juice
1/2 ozSimple syrup (2:1)

Instructions

  1. Chill a coupe glass.
  2. Add all ingredients except wine to a shaker.
  3. Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  4. Double strain into the chilled glass.
  5. Float wine on top.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge.
