Ingredients

1 ozVodka
1/2 ozLimoncello liqueur
8 pieceBasil leaves
1 ozLemon juice
1/2 ozSimple syrup (2:1)
2 1/2 ozTonic water

Instructions

  1. Chill a collins glass.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients except the tonic water to a shaker.
  3. Add ice and shake until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  4. Strain over fresh ice into the chilled glass.
  5. Top with tonic water and stir gently.
  6. Garnish with a basil leaf.
