Ingredients

1 1/4 ozBrandy
1/4 ozWalnut liqueur
5 pieceMaraschino cherry
1 barspoonMaple syrup
4 dashCreole bitters

Instructions

  1. Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice.
  2. Add maraschino cherry to the glass and muddle gently.
  3. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.
  4. Add ice and stir until well chilled (15–30 seconds).
  5. Strain into the prepared glass.
  6. Garnish with an orange peel twist.
